Son & Crumb is a small-batch sourdough bakery rooted in simple, natural ingredients and the joy of motherhood. Led by a devoted baker and parent, the brand celebrates slow, mindful food made with patience and care. From crusty sourdough loaves to hand-rolled bagels, every bake is fermented the right way for deep flavor, easy digestion, and a wholesome finish.
What began as a passion at home—sharing warm slices with a little helper by the counter—has grown into a Community staple. Today, Son & Crumb serves local bread lovers and coffee shops with fresh, organic-forward bakes that feel like home:

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn — California girl, sourdough mama, and proud founder of Son & Crumb.
Baking sourdough brings me peace, purpose, and pure joy.
It started as a passion passed down from my mother-in-law and grew into a dream of making something real—something my son could be proud of. Every item I make is handcrafted with time, love, and intention—just the way our food should be.
I hope it brings a little warmth into your home too.

Each bake is limited so I can keep the quality high and the process joyful.
